The Call On My Life

​

Blessings in the Name of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ! My name is Michael David Berglund. I had received through the laying on of hands and the prophetic word the commission to instruct individuals concerning faith & healing.

​

On the evening of August 17, 1997 the Spirit of the Lord spoke through Pastor Ron Morey: "You will go through a dry season, when you emerge from it, if you seek the Lord like you never have before, He will establish a ministry of healing and signs."

​

I consider this prophetic call as the time the Lord Jesus Christ had set me apart for the work of the healing ministry, it was the night I had become ordained by the Lord Himself.

​

On the evening of May 2005 after emerging from a severe dry season the Spirit of the Lord spoke through Laura Olson Langmade: "God will establish a ministry of healing with signs and wonders following. You will be traveling and teaching many, always returning to Minnesota."

​

As the Lord Jesus Christ spoke through Laura it became a confirmation for me concerning the call upon my life and faith. What I found most encouraging about this prophetic call was that Laura had no knowledge of what the Spirit of God spoke through Pastor Morey eight years earlier, I consider this prophetic word as the confirmation of my ordination of the Lord.

"Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery."  -- 1 Timothy 4:14  KJV

The Specific Direction I Received From The Lord

​

The Lord spoke to me in November 2011 concerning five specific points I am to follow while ministering to others.

​

(1) I am not to lay hands upon individuals, rather I am to give them instruction how to stand upon the Word of God.

​

(2) This ministry I am called to and ordained of the Lord for is not primarily a pulpit ministry. Rather, I am to give instruction in either a class room setting or on an one on one basis.

​

(3) While instructing individuals concerning faith & healing I am to have an expectation that everyone carries their Bibles with them and physically uses their Bibles while being instructed in these truths. I am to instruct and expect individuals to outline their Bibles and to memorize Scripture.

​

(4) I am to have a confession of faith at the beginning of class or in an opening of an one on one teaching time, have these individuals memorize the confession of faith and to hold their Bibles in the air while making the confession of faith.

​

(5) I am to wait quietly and pray in the Spirit before I engage in praying for someone. I am to patiently wait for the leading of the Spirit of God.

​

The Lord spoke to me on September 24, 2020 concerning establishing a virtual Bible School to teach about faith & healing. These video teachings are completely free of charge and to be placed in the public domain for individuals to freely and without restriction or hinderance to listen and watch them.

Ministry Education & Experience

​

I took two classes from North Central Bible College, Systematic Theology I (1989) and Bible Study Methods (1990). In these classes I obtained both the training and the tools to study Christian Doctrine & Theology, along with an introduction to Biblical Word Studies in Classical Hebrew & Koine Greek. In 1995 I took two classes from The School Of The Spirit (hosted by Church On Mount Zion in Lake Elmo, MN), The Acts Of The Apostles (The Book Of Acts) & the Spiritual Gifts Of The Church.

Shortly after coming to the faith I was mentored by Pastor Donald Ray Filbeck of Roseville Assembly Of God, I was blessed to have had the opportunity to sit at his feet and learn the Scripture from him and was deeply influenced by his strong Southern Conservative values.

​

I served as a Youth Leader under Youth Pastor Stephen Porter at Roseville Assembly Of God and lead a small Ministry in the Roseville / Little Canada area in the summer of 1990 where I began to write and lead Bible Studies. I was blessed to operate a Coffee House Ministry off of Dale St. & University Ave in 1993 where I began to preach from the pulpit.

I served as an Associate Pastor for a small Ministry in Minneapolis, MN in 1994, served and led a House Church as the Senior Pastor on Westside of St. Paul, MN in 1995 & 1996 and an Associate / Locally Licensed Pastor in White Bear Lake, MN at Great Hope Church in 1999. I also served as both a Chaplain & Pastor in Fridley,  MN at Lynwood Assisted Living from 2012-2014.

I have actively served in Hospice Ministry, Suicide Intervention Ministry, Preparing & Officiating Funeral, Memorial & Graveside Services. I have actively performed Hospital Visitations, Psychiatric Visitations, Accompanied Individuals to their Court Hearings, and given Notification Of Death when individuals needed to be given the news of someone's passing.

Since coming to Faith in Jesus on November 23, 1987 I have dedicated myself to a pursuit of intense study of the Holy Scriptures. I have currently studied Christian Doctrine for over thirty years, Christian Theology for over thirty years, Classical Hebrew & Koine Greek Word Studies for over thirty years. I have written Major Doctrinal Statements, written and lead numerous Bible Studies and have committed myself to ten years of Judaic Studies (Biblical & Talmudic).

​

I am an Independent Healing Minister not affiliated with any specific Church or Organization, though I consider myself closely aligned with the Word Of Faith Movement. I have been deeply influenced and have learned much of my Doctrinal & Theological Convictions primarily from Kenneth E. Hagin and Kenneth Copeland. The late A.A. Allen through his videos and his written Bible School Courses has also deeply influenced me.

I hold to strong Southern Conservative Values and as a Healing Minister I subscribe to Old School Teaching & Instruction with a strong conviction of the use of a Physical Bible and expounding directly from the Holy Scriptures. The Ministry I have been gifted for and blessed to operate in does not possess a 501c3 tax-exempt status, I find such a status as a means for the government to try and dictate what can and cannot be expressed or taught. 

I am committed to the proclamation of an uncompromised Gospel Message untainted by the moral standards of the world. I reject all and every "woke" agendas and refuse to bend my knee to it's agendas.

​

The Holy Scriptures

The Holy Scriptures were spoken by God to the prophets and apostles (2 Timothy 3:16), God moved through His Spirit the prophets and apostles (1 Peter 1:10-12; 2 Peter 1:21; John 14:26; 16:13; 1 Corinthians 2:10-13; Ephesians 3:2-6). The Holy Scriptures are God's very words and not an idea of man (1 Thessalonians 2:13), they cannot be broken, altered, or changed (John 10:34, 35; Psalm 82:6; Matthew. 5:17-19), and are the foundation for the Church (Ephesians 2:19-22). The Holy Scriptures are alive and full of life (Hebrews 4:12; John 6:63), with the power of the Holy Spirit (1Thessalonians 1:5; 1 Corinthians 2:4).

God

God is Spirit (John 4:24), the heavens can not contain Him (1 Kings 8:27; Isaiah 66:1; Acts 7:48), nor is God is limited by time (Psalm 90:2; 2 Peter 3:8). He knows all things (Matthew 6:8, 32; 1 John 3:20), is unchanging (James 1:17; Malachi 3:6; Psalm 103:17). all powerful (Genesis 17:1; Job 42:2; Jeremiah 32:17; Revelation 4:8; 19:6, 15), and the Creator of the heavens and the earth (Isaiah 45:11-13; Jeremiah 32:17; Acts 4:24). God is in three persons in a Triune Godhead, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; Isaiah. 48:16; Matthew 3:16, 17; 28:19; Luke 3:21, 22; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ was born by a virgin (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:22, 23; Luke 1:31, 35), was without sin (Hebrews 7:26-28; 1 Peter 2:22; 2 Corinthians 5:21), fully divine and human (John 1:1, 2; Colossians 2:9, 10; John 1:14, 18, 49; 10:30; 14:1; Matthew 1:23; 1 John 4:2, 3; Revelation 1:8; 19:13; 21:6; 22:13). Jesus was lead to the cross to die (Matthew 27:31, 35, 50; Mark 15:20, 24, 25, 37; Luke 23:33, 46; John 19:16, 18, 23, 30), was raised from the grave on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4), and bodily rose from the dead (Matthew 28:9; Luke 24:34 39, 41-43; John 20:25-28; Acts 2:31). Jesus ascended into heaven (Mark 16:19; Luke 24:50; Acts 1:9; 1 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:14; 1 Peter 3:22), and is seated at the right hand of God (Matthew 22:44; Ephesians 1:20; Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 10:12; Revelation 3:21). Jesus is personally returning for His Church (John 14:3; 21:22; Acts 1:10; 3:21; Philippians 3:20; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; Hebrews 9:28; James 5:7).

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is eternally existent, present everywhere, and all knowing (Hebrews 9:14; Psalm 139:7-10; 1 Corinthians 2:10, 11), the Holy Spirit inspired the prophets and their prophecies (Numbers 11:29; Zechariah 7:12; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 Peter 1:10-12), the Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the grave (Romans 8:10, 11; 1 Peter 3:18). The Holy Spirit witnesses to the redeeming work of Jesus Christ (Acts 5:30-32), convicts man of sin and unbelief (John 16:7- 11; 1 Thessalonians 1:5), makes man clean before God (Romans 15:16; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Corinthians 6:11; Titus 3:5), seals all true believers for salvation (Ephesians 1:13, 14; 4:30; 2 Corinthians 1:22), and dwells in the redeemed (Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19; Galatians 4:6).

Salvation 

All mankind has sinned (Romans 3:23), causing a separation between man and God (Isaiah 59:2) creating the penalty of death (Romans 6:23). Because of God’s great love for us He sent His Son Jesus Christ to provide salvation for us (John 3:16), Jesus paid the penalty we were under (Romans 5:6-11), desiring for every person to come to salvation (1 Timothy 2:3, 4; Titus 2:11), through repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21), believing on Jesus for salvation (Acts 16:31).

​

The Baptism Of The Holy Spirit With The Initial Physical Evidence Of Tongues 

There is a second ministry of the Holy Spirit which is separate from salvation (John 20:22; Acts 1:5; 2:4 /Acts 8:12, 16, 17 /Acts 19:4, 5, 6), this second ministry of the Holy Spirit is to empower believers to be witnesses (Luke 24:45-49; Acts 1:8). Speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6). It is important for all believers to obey the command of Jesus to seek and wait for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4, 5; 2:39; 5:32).

​

Different Ministries Of Speaking In Tongues 

Speaking in tongues is for every believer in Jesus Christ (Mark 16:17; Acts 2:39; 5:32), the different gifts of tongues are the initial physical evidence for the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6), the personal prayer language (1 Corinthians 14:2, 4, 14), and the gift of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 28, 30). Speaking in tongues should not be forbidden (1 Corinthians 14:39), nor should the believer ignore the command to be filled with the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4, 5; Ephesians 5:18) by not resisting (Acts 7:51), grieving (Ephesians 4:30), or quenching (1 Thessalonians 5:19) the Holy Spirit.

​

Spiritual Gifts Of The Church

The Holy Spirit makes available His gifts to those who eagerly desire them (1 Corinthians 14:1;12:1), the gifts which are freely given are the manifestation gifts (1 Corinthians 12:8-11, 27-31), the ministry gifts (Ephesians 4:11, 12), and the motivational gifts (Romans 12:6-8).

​

Divine Healing 

As followers of Jesus Christ divine healing is available because of the work Jesus did on the cross (Isaiah 53:4, 5; Matthew 8:16, 17; James 5:14-16; Psalm 103:2, 3), along with His bodily suffering (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24). Divine healing is part of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Luke 9:1, 2).

Mission Statement

My mission is to be obedient to the command of the great commission by making disciples and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Matthew 10:1-10; 28:16-20; Mark 6:6-13; Luke 9:1-9; 10:1-4) by waiting and receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of tongues (Luke 24:45-49; Acts 1:4, 5; 2:4; 10:46; 19:6), being empowered by the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:45-49; Acts 1:8), passing on the ministry of Jesus Christ to reliable individuals (2 Timothy 2:2), through public reading and teaching of the Holy Scriptures and being an example in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity (1 Timothy 4:12, 13)

Michael David Berglund's Testimony Of Being Healed From Cancer

​

In mid 2012 I began to feel uncomfortable while sitting down, the pain I was experiencing was a mild sensation I had never experienced before. I didn't think much about it and learned to deal with it because it was so mild. Then in early 2013 the pain grew worse to the point it was becoming painful to sit whether driving or at home. I had began to experience severe weakness and a growing inability to walk without a cane. I could no longer safely navigate stairs and after just a few steps I had to sit down because I could not stand for any length of time. I began to experience difficulty urrinating and when I was able to I found it painful.

​

I visited my doctor and he asked some questions, I explained to him my symptoms and he conducted additional examinations and tests. As he examined my prostrate he became concerned, he explained to me that it was very hard, it was enlarged and it had nodules on it. He told me I had to see a specialist and get a biopsy, he set up the appointment and gave me information about the specialist.

​

When the specialist examined my prostrate he was very somber and had no doubt in his mind there was cancer. He confirmed the size, firmness and the nodules on it that my personal physician had stated. I remember my wife asking the specialist how advanced he thought it was, he wouldn't give an answer. But he turned to me and said I needed to have a biopsy performed the next day. I explained to him I was unable to schedule the biopsy the following day, knowing he wasn't going to persuade me we scheduled a biopsy for a few days later.

​

I was in pain, I was weak and I began to try and process all what I was going through. This lead me into depression and the sense of hopelessness. I remember laying on the couch after a couple of days seriously considering surrendering to this cancer and allowing it to take me. I felt a deep sense of shame because I had preached and taught people about applying their faith to the Word of God for their healing, and yet, I was a faith and healing teacher weakened by cancer ready to give up to it and die.

​

I talked with a brother in Christ and told him all that I was going through, at this point of time my faith was very weak. This brother in Christ without hesitation laid his hands on me and took authority over the cancer and over my prostrate and called forth healing. As he prayed and made the declarations, my faith was strengthened and I decided that night I was going to fight this cancer with the Word of God. After he finished praying we parted ways and there was no change in my condition physically, but there was a change in my determination and my faith. I went to bed agreeing with this brother in Christ and with the passage of 1 Peter 2:24.

​

The next morning I woke up with no pain, I wasn't weak and I could easily urrinate without pain. I knew that I was healed! I called the specialist and told him I had received prayer and that I was healed of the cancer, he wouldn't accept that as a fact and wanted to still proceed with the biopsy. A few days later I went to my biopsy appointment and the specialist re-examined my prostrate, he was completely dumbfounded because it shrunk down to it's normal size, it was soft and had no nodules on it. He then proceeded with the biopsy. After the procedure he let me know when he should get the results and if I hadn't heard from him by a specific day to call him.

​

That day arrived and I called his office on a Wednesday and the nurse talked with me, she informed me that he did receive the results but he is holding the results as he had other doctors look at it. She politely told me that I could try calling back the next day. I remember hanging up the phone and told my wife what the nurse said, then with a firm voice I said to my wife; "They can look all they want there is no cancer because I am healed in Jesus Name!" I called the doctors office on both Thursday and Friday and received the same response from the nurse, not deterred I continued to cling to the Truth of my healing from 1 Peter 2:24.

​

On the Monday of the following week the doctor called me and said, "Good news, there is no cancer in your prostrate, though there were some precancerous cells." He paused, then continued with a voice of disbelief and said, "I don't understand, it is medically impossible." He proceeded to let me know that with my initial examination he was absolutely certain I was in the final stages of prostrate cancer. The following year the same specialist performed a second biopsy, after he received the test results he told me that my prostrate was clean and that all the precancerous cells had disappeared.

The Confession Of Faith

​

This is the Word of God, God's Revelation given to me. Divinely Inspired Words (1) which are spirit and life. (2) A living and active document. (3) I meditate upon it day and night (4) and I actively hide the Word in my heart. (5) According as it is written I believe and I speak. (6) My faith is founded upon the Word of God and I hold to a confident expectation for the manifestation of it's Divine truths in my life today. (7) Amen.
